SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We deliver by Australia Post, Australia Post Express, Australia Post Courier, Air Mail and Australia Post airmail and Express International. Shipping methods depend on the product.

Prepairing your products for dispatch may take up to 3 days and delivery can take between 3 to 6 working days from the date your payment is received (Australian Orders). Express post usually takes up to 2 days depending on your location. Please check the Australia Post website for more information.

International deliveries may take up to 4 weeks depending on your location.
 

Products that are dispatched to our customers including the ones with tracking numbers, will recieve an email confirmation when your order has been dispatched.

Delivery times are Monday to Friday, excluding Public holidays. Hobby Direct continues to make every effort to deliver your product within the estimated delivery times provided.
Estimated ship times may change due to changes in supply or circumstances beyond our control, however we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame. If your product has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us.

Unless otherwise stated, we will deliver your products to the address indicated on your Order Confirmation. With medium to large parcles, If no-one is available to take delivery of your Products, our carriers will leave a card so you can collect product from your local Post Office. Where delivery is by our courier service and no-one is available to take delivery, they will leave a card requesting you to telephone them to arrange a suitable time and date for delivery.

PAYMENT & PRICING

We currently accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard and Bank Deposit only.

We process all credit card payments manually through a separate secure website called "cardlink". After you Submit your order we then process your transaction at the end of the day . This is safe and secure and requires a manual transaction. Orders placed on a weekend or a Public holiday will processed the next business day. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.
For PayPal payments, we receive an email once payment has been received.

RETURNS & REPLACEMENT
Return A Product
No refunds, credit or replacements are offered if you have changed your mind about the product, make an incorrect choice, or failed to verify and accurately provide information when placing an Order.

Refunds will only be offered where a replacement product cannot be provided. Where we have provisionally determined that a product is DOA, the item is to be returned to us (Returns, Hobby Direct PO Box 11 Canungra Qld 4275 Australia) allong with the shipping docket and a credit will be organised back the same way the payment was made. If the product is deemed by Hobby Direct's technical department NOT to be DOA, we may in its absolute discretion refuse to replace the product or offer you a refund for the product. When a product is replaced, your replacement product becomes your property and the returned DOA product becomes our property.

We reserves the right to test any returned DOA Product. If the condition of the product was misrepresented to us by the customer, we will impose a $30 handling and administration fee.

Product Problems After Delivery
If your item arrives DOA (Dead On Arrival) or you find a defect arises after delivery within 7 days of delivery, We will exchange the product where possible, or refund you the purchase price of the Product. Should you contact us outside the 14 day period customer service management will consider each claim on a case by case basis on its merits.

Where we agree to replace the Product or refund you the purchase price of the Product, you must first return the defective Product to us allong with the shipping document. You will be obliged to pay for the return of the Product if the item is sent after 14 days from dispatch. We will make arrangements with you for the return of the Product. The delivery time for replacing the Product will be the same as stated for the original Product. Replacement Products are provided with the same Warranty as the returned Product.

Organising the Return of DOA Products
DOA Products must be returned whenever we agree to replace the product or provide you with a refund. Where you received a DOA product Please return the product to (Returns, Hobby Direct PO Box 11 Canungra Qld 4275 Australia) allong with the shipping docket that was shipped with the item.
Where you have received a DOA Product by our Courier Service, we will make arrangements with our Courier Service for collection of the Product, and will notify you when they will collect the product from you.

When a Replacement Product is arranged:
A replacement for the same product that you ordered will be shipped to you at our expense after we have received your returned DOA Product. The delivery time for the replacement Product will depend on availability. Replacement Products are provided with the same Warranty as the DOA Product.

When a Refund is arranged:
Refunds include all shipping and associated costs for the DOA Product. No refund will be given to you until we have received the DOA Product from you. Refunds will be issued by PayPal or to your bank account depending on the method of payment..
